Job summary

Re-Leased Software Company Ltd in Napier is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy complex software within an agile team. You will mentor juniors and collaborate with product, design and support to deliver technology that scales.

Based in Napier or remote from another NZ city, you’ll work with Azure, .NET Core and AI-assisted coding practices to ship high-quality code, improve the product, and help customers run better real estate businesses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and SQL Server.
• Experience developing solutions for Cloud/SaaS on Azure.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and shipping production code.
• Owner's mindset: take initiative and stay customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Write, generate and maintain high-quality code across complex distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product manager and tech lead for discovery and technical scoping of new features.
• Identify systemic codebase issues and design foundational improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues.
• Mentor more junior engineers through code review and pair programming.
