Job summary

Fujitsu seeks an experienced Senior SOC Analyst to deliver advanced monitoring, investigation and incident coordination across customer environments. The role operates on a rotating 24/7 roster and supports mentoring of junior analysts.

Based in Canberra, Auckland or Wellington, you will validate complex cases, guide escalation, and contribute to improvements in detection and response playbooks, while maintaining thorough case documentation and customer updates.

Qualifications

• Senior SOC experience in a security operations or MSSP environment.
• Ability to manage complex investigations and determine escalation paths.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/EDR/XDR across endpoints, cloud and network.
• Proven mentoring and quality review during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analysis and investigation of security alerts and incidents.
• Act as senior escalation point for high-severity events and coordinate response.
• Correlate data across endpoints, identities, cloud, network and apps.
• Scope incidents and support response using approved procedures.
• Review escalations and provide peer review of investigations.
• Contribute to incident reviews and improvements to playbooks.
• Provide shift leadership and maintain clear case records.
• Engage with customers for senior analytical input when required.
• Collaborate with ACIRT and other specialist teams for improvements.
