Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking a Senior Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst based in Canberra / Auckland / Wellington to provide advanced monitoring, investigation and incident coordination for managed customer environments. This hands-on role operates on a rotating 24/7 roster with day, evening, overnight, weekend and public holiday coverage.

Australian or New Zealand citizenship is mandatory and a current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 security clearance or NZ equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a SOC or equivalent security ops environment at senior/escalation level.
• Experience independently managing complex investigations, assessing severity and scope.
• Strong analytical skills across SIEM/EDR/XDR with endpoint, identity and cloud data.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior escalation point for complex, time-critical events.
• Coordinate initial incident scoping and response activity.
• Mentor and review investigations, tickets and reports.
• Maintain clear investigation records and handover notes.
• Lead structured shift handovers ensuring incident status and next actions.
• Contribute to customer reporting and service improvement using evidence.
