Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Pavement - Senior Site Engineer to join the Ōtaki to North Levin project (Te Pae o Tararua). You will oversee quality, planning, set-out and day-to-day delivery of construction works, working with supervisors, project engineers and the crew to turn design into reality safely and on time.

This Roads of National Significance project focuses on upgrading SH1 between Ōtaki and North Levin, improving safety and travel efficiency.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (NZQA Level 7) is required.
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience in heavy civil construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in pavements, including pavement construction and/or stabilisation.

Responsabilités

• Support planning and delivery of daily site works, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and resourced.
• Check construction against drawings and specs, flagging issues early and helping resolve them.
• Carry out set-out and as-built for pavement layers and stabilised areas with accurate levels and geometry.
• Collaborate with JV partners to align programmes and maintain standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, pavement QA, test records and ITPs for assigned areas.
• Monitor productivity, quantities and progress, reporting to the project team.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to keep fronts running smoothly and safely.
• Contribute to site safety through pre-starts, risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Assist with short-term programming, method statements and work packs as required.
