Job summary

BECA is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect its information assets and technology platforms. You will embed security best practices across enterprise systems, cloud environments, applications and data platforms while aligning with AI-enabled initiatives.

You will drive security architecture reviews, threat modelling, incident response and governance, partnering with architects, engineers and platform owners in a Microsoft-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, cloud security or infrastructure security within medium to large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies and modern security practices across cloud, applications, platforms and infrastructure.
• Experience conducting threat modelling, risk assessments, security reviews and implementing effective security controls.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and related governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security architecture reviews, threat modelling and security assurance activities.
• Support incident response, investigations, remediation and continuous security improvements.
• Develop and promote security standards, patterns and controls to be applied across the organisation.
• Partner with engineering and technology teams to embed security into delivery processes.
