Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team in New Zealand delivers end-to-end projects including data centres and healthcare. As a Senior Revit Designer, you will lead accurate, coordinated digital documentation for building services projects, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, Digital Services, you will coordinate Revit activities, balance workloads, and align with upcoming project pipelines while collaborating with discipline leads to

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate or Diploma in CAD, Drafting, or related field.
• Advanced expertise in CAD, Revit, and digital delivery methods for building services projects.
• Proven ability to implement and uphold quality systems, drive project coordination, and minimise rework.
• Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and technical coaching.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and 7 years of digital delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of Revit and digital delivery across building services projects, ensuring work is planned, prioritized, and delivered to quality standards and timeframes.
• Manage team workloads by reviewing project demands, balancing priorities, and allocating work to support efficient delivery and team wellbeing.
• Work with Delivery Manager, discipline leads, and project leaders to understand upcoming project pipelines, resourcing requirements, and delivery risks.
• Assess team capability and capacity to align people to projects, identifying training, mentoring, and development opportunities.
• Support consistent digital delivery practices, including model coordination, documentation standards, QA checks, and continuous improvement.
