Job summary

Maynard Marks is seeking a commercially driven Senior Associate – Quantity Surveyor to join the Auckland team and grow our Quantity Surveying service line. The role is senior and client-facing, leading and delivering QS services across a range of private and public sector projects, including residential, education, insurance, remedial, and infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience delivering quantity surveying services across multiple sectors in a consultancy environment.
• Ability to operate with autonomy while managing client relationships and delivery quality.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide practical cost and risk advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver quantity surveying services across a diverse project portfolio.
• Support business development including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and securing work.
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for projects.
• Prepare and review estimates, cost plans, and tender documentation.
• Provide advice on project risks, variations, and cost impacts.
• Mentor and support team members while contributing to project delivery.
