Hawkins in the Manawatu region is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will be responsible for the financial management of projects, setting and monitoring budgets, reviewing cost to complete, and handling progress claims and variations.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and senior management, applying NZ contract law expertise and advancing financial reporting and systems using Excel and Jobpac or similar tools.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 7 years' experience on mid to large commercial projects.
• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification.
• Excellent NZ contract law knowledge.
• Excellent financial literacy; exposure to Jobpac or similar is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills.

We have an opportunity in the Manawatu for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us.

You will be responsible for the financial management of projects, setting and monitoring budgets, reviewing cost to complete, programming review, progress claims and variations, and financial reporting and systems.

You will be a key member of our team and get to work with some of New Zealand's most knowledgeable construction professionals.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• A minimum of 7 years' experience working on mid to large commercial construction projects
• A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualification
• Great teamwork and people skills. You'll be comfortable working with a wide range of people including clients, consultants and senior management.
• Excellent NZ contract law knowledge.
• Excellent financial literacy and exposure to Jobpac or a similar financial control package would be highly desirable.
• Advanced computer literacy; particularly in Excel.
