Job summary

Hilton Foods in Auckland is seeking a Senior Quality Partner to join our Quality team. You will maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring food safety, compliance and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Collaborating with operational teams and QA stakeholders, you will lead internal audits, drive non-conformance investigations and support training to uphold quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or quality discipline.
• Experience in quality/food safety within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QMS, audits and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System and documentation.
• Partner with operational teams to embed regulatory, food safety and customer requirements.
• Coach stakeholders on quality standards and customer specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and close non-conformances.
• Play an active role in HACCP and risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with L&D and operations to ensure effective training delivery.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations and CAPAs.
• Support a culture of quality excellence and accountability.
• Coordinate rostering and task allocation for the Quality team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities across the site.

About The Role

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Quality Partner to join our Quality team.

Reporting to the Quality Manager and working closely with the Quality Systems Manager, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS). This is a fantastic opportunity to influence food safety, compliance and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Senior Quality Partner, you'll:

• Support and maintain the site's Quality Management System, ensuring policies, procedures, work instructions and documentation remain accurate, compliant and effective.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure regulatory, food safety and customer requirements are embedded in everyday practices.
• Coach and support stakeholders on food safety compliance, quality standards and customer specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections, identify improvement opportunities and drive the closure of non-conformances.
• Play an active role within the HACCP team, contributing to food safety and risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development and operational leaders to ensure training requirements are effectively delivered and maintained.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities across the site.
• Support a culture of quality excellence and accountability throughout the business.
• The Senior QP also helps with overall team rostering and task management.
• Assist in coordinating Quality team resources, including rostering and task allocation, to support business priorities and maintain operational effectiveness.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will ideally have:

• A Bachelors Degree in a Scientific and/or Quality Systems or a related discipline
• Previous experience in Quality, Food Safety or Quality Systems role within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, audits and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• High levels of computer literacy and data management capability.
• A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
