Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Queenstown team. You will design and execute test strategies, develop automated tests, and identify defects to ensure a seamless user experience.

You will mentor junior QA staff, collaborate with developers and product managers, and contribute to a growing technology department through continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Proficiency with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking (JIRA) and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new and existing software applications.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using relevant testing frameworks and tools.
• Execute manual and automated tests, identify and document bugs, and track them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Provide clear reports on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics.
