Jacobs seeks a Principal Protection Engineer to lead Protection and Control across NZ’s Transmission and Distribution networks. You will oversee schemes, develop relay settings, and perform advanced modelling and studies to support energy transition projects.

Qualifications
- Degree accredited under the Washington Accord or equivalent.
- Extensive protection engineering experience for transmission and distribution.
- Ability to model power systems and develop relay settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Protection and Control across APAC.
- Oversee design and implementation of protection schemes for major clients.
- Develop protection settings and relay configurations for multiple schemes.
- Perform advanced power system modelling and simulations.
- Lead relay coordination studies and fault analyses.
- Mentor engineers and build client relationships.
