Senior Project Manager: Terminal Enabling Works

Job summary

Auckland Airport is partnering with Capstone Recruitment NZ to appoint a Senior Project Manager Director to oversee the Terminal Enabling Works programme. You will lead design, procurement and delivery of high‑impact infrastructure while safeguarding operations and focusing on quality, schedule and cost.

You will manage and align multidisciplinary teams, drive governance with stakeholders and ensure contractual, safety and environmental standards are met across the lifecycle of major projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Science or Management.
• 10-15 years’+ experience in project management.
• 5 years+ experience as a Project Manager for complex infrastructure.
• Experience with complex brownfield interfacing projects such as healthcare or railway infrastructure would be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including executive level interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams across delivery, commercial, controls, design & engineering, health & safety.
• Oversee and deliver the programme with alignment, collaboration, integration and accountability.
• Lead the full project lifecycle from design to commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of outcomes.
