Auckland Airport is seeking a Development Manager to champion enterprise outcomes within a project team, ensuring commercial, operational, customer and regulatory needs are balanced across the terminal lifecycle.
You will lead tenancy/occupancy planning, stakeholder integration, and commercial documentation to ensure spaces deliver value and benefits through their lifecycle. A collaborative, results-focused approach is essential for success on major infrastructure programmes.

As the Development Manager, embedded within a project team, you will act as Auckland Airport's champion for enterprise outcomes for specific areas within the terminal, ensuring commercial, operational, customer and regulatory requirements are balanced and integrated throughout a project’s lifecycle.
You will be the point of accountability for tenancy/occupancy planning, stakeholder integration, commercial arrangements and benefit realisation to ensure each space delivers its intended value throughout its lifecycle.

You will probably have a Bachelor's degree in property, commerce, engineering, project management, planning, law or a related discipline and have contract management or commercial management qualifications. Experience in infrastructure development, property development, asset development, major projects, airport operations, commercial management or related fields will be important and demonstrated experience developing and maintaining business cases through project lifecycles will be evident.
With a strong enterprise mindset and a highly collaborative and relationship-focused approach, you will be comfortable operating through complexity and ambiguity. Your strong judgement and decision-making capability will be evident by your background and previous projects and integrity and professionalism will be there for all to see.
