Job summary

Frequency is a New Zealand‑owned project advisory consultancy seeking an experienced project manager for its Tauranga office. You will lead client-side delivery in industrial and infrastructure environments, from planning through handover, coordinating clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects moving.

This role covers brownfield and capital works, requiring practical delivery judgment, strong communication and a calm, structured approach to complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project delivery on NZ client-side projects.
• Technical background in electrical, mechanical, engineering, construction or building services.
• Confident coordinating across many disciplines, stakeholders and phases.
• Clear communication, strong organisation and practical, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects across industrial, infrastructure, and operational environments from planning through to handover.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects progressing.
• Support planning for disruptive works, staging, shutdowns or critical interfaces.
• Contribute to procurement processes, contract administration and delivery planning.
• Identify risks and issues early and work with teams to develop practical solutions.
• Maintain a strong health and safety focus throughout delivery.
• Build strong client and team relationships and foster a positive culture.
