Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking seasoned Project Managers to lead business-focused programmes across internal and external stakeholders. You will establish governance, develop programme management plans, and drive end-to-end delivery with a hands-on approach.

You will coordinate prioritisation with planning teams, build master schedules, report to the governance board, and engage with external delivery entities to integrate requirements into the master plan. Confidential conversations welcome.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to establish and lead cross-functional project teams.
• Experience creating governance structures and reporting to boards or steering groups.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Establish an internal project management team.
• Set up the governance board and manage ongoing reporting requirements.
• Complete a programme management plan for end-to-end implementation and secure sign-off from governance board or steering group.
• Oversee initial and progressive rollout of implementation action plans.
• Work with planning team to agree prioritisation and milestones.
• Establish relationships with business workstream leads to coordinate initiatives.
• Develop and monitor master programme schedule of deliverables.
• Hands-on management of deliverables.
• Engage with external entities responsible for delivery of identified requirements and integrate into the master plan.
