  • Provide financial oversight and advice on investments, funding requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to Programme leadership and governance forums.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and assurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, financial policies, and reporting obligations.
  • Support audit, assurance, and governance requirements across the Programme.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and information to support effective decision‑making.

Business Cases, Analysis & Benefits Realisation

  • Lead financial modelling, investment assessments, and cost‑benefit analysis.
  • Support the development of business cases, funding submissions, and investment proposals.
  • Assess financial impacts, risks, and opportunities associated with programme decisions.
  • Monitor and report on programme benefits and value realisation.
  • Provide robust financial analysis to inform strategic priorities and change initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to Programme leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Programme teams, business groups, and external partners.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.
  • Provide expert advice on financial management, governance, reporting, and investment decisions.
  • Contribute strategic recommendations to governance and decision‑making forums.

What You’ll Bring To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (CAANZ, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a Senior Programme Financial Controller, Financial Systems Manager, Finance Systems Lead, or similar senior finance role.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management, reporting frameworks, controls, governance, and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience leading financial workstreams within ERP implementations, enterprise transformations, or major system change programmes.
  • Strong understanding of finance data structures, governance, master data management, and reporting requirements.
  • Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • The ability to operate effectively within complex, fast‑paced, and evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
  • Experience translating complex business and financial requirements into practical process and system solutions.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale ERP, HRMIS, finance transformation, or enterprise‑wide change programmes.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience developing or enhancing data governance frameworks, KPIs, financial reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams, workstreams, or complex programme deliverables.
  • 5-10+ years’ experience working within programme, project, transformation, or change environments.

Why Join? This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial direction of a major transformation programme and make a lasting impact on organisational performance and outcomes.

You’ll work alongside experienced leaders and specialists, contribute to strategic decision‑making, and help drive the successful delivery of a high‑profile programme.
