Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Senior Product Solutions Manager for Personal Banking Product in New Zealand. You will own risk and remediation initiatives, identify root causes, and translate complex issues into clear requirements while partnering with remediation, legal, and operations teams.

You will shape product strategy, drive compliant, customer-focused outcomes, and influence senior stakeholders across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services, ideally with exposure to lending products.
• Ability to translate ambiguity into clear requirements and actionable specifications.
• Strong analytical skills for remediation activity and population sizing.
• Proven ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis and delivery: lead structured analysis for product and risk-related change; define acceptance criteria and support testing.
• Risk & Compliance: manage risks and ensure compliance with NZ financial regulations; shape incidents from discovery to resolution.
• Strategic Product Development: create and execute product strategies and improvements; share remediation learnings across portfolios.
• Ensure Business Outcomes are met: deliver measurable outcomes meeting stakeholder needs including leadership and compliance.
• Collaboration & Influence: work with business, remediation, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and deliver at pace.
• Continuous Improvement: foster a culture of learning, coach teams, and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Thought Leadership: present business cases, lead strategic analysis, and communicate product strategy to senior management.
