Job summary

Department of Internal Affairs is seeking an experienced developer to shape how we build and deliver digital services using Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics. You will join the Business Technology Services group within our Digital Services branch, with a senior role that combines hands-on work and coaching others.

You will implement systems and proof-of-concept solutions, set technical direction, and help the team adopt better ways of working, leveraging your proven development background

Qualifications

• 5 years of programming experience in C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience in Power Platform and Dynamics development is a bonus.
• Strong web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs.
• Basic exposure to Azure and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with relational databases and Git.
• Strong unit, integration and end-to-end testing capabilities.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and clear stakeholder communication.
• Tertiary IT qualification or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute hands-on development for Power Platform and Dynamics projects.
• Shape technical direction and architectural decisions for Power Platform work.
• Build systems, features and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve ways of working.
