Job summary

New Zealand Customs Service in Wellington/Auckland is seeking a Senior Advisor, Enterprise Services to lead a major programme of policy review and improvement. You will translate complex legislative and organisational requirements into clear policy guidance, manage a structured work programme, and engage with leaders, risk and legal teams to ensure policies are fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

Lead the review, development and update of organisational policies.
Translate complex legislative and regulatory requirements into clear policy solutions.
Develop and manage a structured policy work programme with milestones.
Analyse policy risks and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Draft and quality-assure policy documents and materials.
Engage with subject matter experts, leaders, and risk teams to ensure policy fit.
