Job summary

MBIE is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor in the Tourism Economy team to help double tourism exports by 2034. You will lead policy projects, undertake robust analysis, and provide Ministers with high-quality advice on dynamic issues affecting New Zealand's tourism sector and economy.

The role involves working with industry partners, Māori, international organisations and agencies, shaping practical, evidence-based policy solutions while coaching others and supporting team capability.

Qualifications

• Experience developing high-quality policy advice and delivering robust analysis on complex issues.

• Experience leading policy projects and coaching or mentoring colleagues.
