Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Banking Experience in New Zealand. You will own the reconciliation review experience on top of Auto Bank Rec (ABR), guiding automation, trust, and time-to-value across the global banking suite.

Collaborating with engineering, ML, design, and cross-functional partners, you will shape metrics, eval frameworks, and roadmaps to evolve bank reconciliation into AI-native surfaces and conversational experiences customers actually use.

Qualifications

• B2B SaaS product management experience, with automation/AI/ML-powered workflows.
• Ability turning ambiguity into evidence-based strategy.
• Comfort working with engineering and ML teams to guide decisions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills using data and logs.
• Excellent written and asynchronous communication across time zones.
• Collaborative mindset with PMs, UX designers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ramping up on Auto Bank Rec and reconciliation review roadmap.
• Partnering with engineering to push the management-by-exception model further.
• Defining success metrics, eval frameworks, and dashboards for quality and time-to-value as automation scales.
• Establishing clear product requirements with design and engineering for expanding reconciliation into AI-native surfaces.
