About the Role
We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Physiotherapist to work within our General Medicine team based at Te Toka Tumai, Auckland City Hospital in a permanent, full time 1.0 FTE position. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership capabilities. In this role you will carry a clinical caseload, providing comprehensive and evidence-based care to General Medicine patients within the inpatient setting. In addition to your clinical caseload, you will play an active role in quality improvement within the General Medicine area, provide day to day coordination and leadership within the general medical team. This role works closely with our other acute medical specialities and you will have the opportunity to learn and work within AED/CDU, Haematology, Respiratory and Cardiothoracics.

Our team is made up of passionate and supportive Physiotherapists motivated to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of the communities we serve. Our Acute Medical Team is led by a Practice Supervisor and consists of 19 staff working across AED/CDU, General Medicine, Respiratory, Cardiothoracics, Haematology and Oncology. Our wider Te Toka Tumai Physiotherapy team consists of 95.5FTE, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
