Job summary

Te Matauru Primary School in Rangiora, Canterbury, is seeking an experienced educator to lead our Phase 3 cohort as Phase Leader and oversee a whānau class. The role focuses on data analysis, strategic planning, and reporting to parents, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, culturally competent practice, and Te Ao Māori awareness.

You will coordinate relievers, support EOTC events, and help shape the school's refreshed curriculum and new facilities, starting Term 1, 2027.

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Te Matauru Primary School is seeking a passionate, highly motivated and committed educator to lead our diverse school community. The position is for a Phase Leader to lead our Phase 3 cohort. The successful candidate will also be responsible for a whānau class.

We are looking for an experienced educator who can bring knowledge and skills in collaboration, neurodiversity and cultural competence. Experience in Te Reo Māori and Te Ao Māori would be advantageous.
