MBIE seeks a Senior Performance Analyst in Wellington for the Kānoa team to deliver performance, outcomes and evaluation reporting on regional investments. You will lead analytical products by integrating financial, administrative and external data to produce clear, defensible insights for ministerial briefings and public reporting.

Role requires strong monitoring/evaluation expertise, excellent analytical skills, and ability to manage competing priorities while engaging with senior stakeholders.

Formación

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and outcomes analysis.
• Ability to interpret complex evidence and identify insights.
• Experience developing performance reports and advice for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SQL, R or Python.
• Ability to resolve data quality issues and implement QA processes.
• Strong project management and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Understanding of public sector accountability and machinery of government.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
