Job summary

NZTA | Waka Kotahi is seeking a Senior Advisor, Partnerships to support road safety partnerships across government, councils, and industry. You will build relationships across agencies, monitor programmes and identify opportunities to strengthen initiatives.

This permanent role can be based in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch with a salary between $112,000 and $135,000, commensurate with experience; five weeks' annual leave and insurance benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across diverse agencies and sectors.
• Experience contributing to education, communication, marketing, or behaviour change initiatives.
• Ability to analyse information from multiple sources and present clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Supporting management and oversight of investment in the Regional Road Safety Programme.
• Building and maintaining relationships with cross-government agencies, councils and sector stakeholders.
• Coordinating and contributing to partnership initiatives and programmes.
• Monitoring programme performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting communication and engagement activities to embed initiatives.
