Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency is seeking a Senior Advisor, Partnerships to join the Education and Partnerships team. You will build and maintain relationships across government agencies, councils, road safety organisations and commercial partners to deliver coordinated road safety initiatives.

The role supports investment oversight, monitors performance and identifies opportunities to expand NZTA's influence while maintaining a focus on safer road safety outcomes for New Zealanders.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to cross-government or cross-agency initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience delivering marketing, education, or behaviour-change programmes.
• Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and operate in a complex environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support management and oversight of investment in regional road safety programmes.
• Build and maintain relationships with cross-government agencies, councils and sector stakeholders.
• Coordinate and contribute to partnership initiatives and programmes.
• Monitor programme performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to communication and engagement activities to embed initiatives.
