Job summary
Health NZ Counties Manukau seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Paediatric Ambulatory Service, leading advanced clinical care for children with complex neurodevelopmental conditions, including ASD and ADHD. You will work autonomously and with teams to improve health outcomes and reduce inequities for tamariki and whaanau in Counties Manukau.

Qualifications
- NZ Registered Nurse Practitioner with a current APC.
- 5+ years recent clinical experience in paediatrics and neurodevelopmental care.
- Advanced clinical assessment and decision making skills.
- Experience in multidisciplinary teaching, leadership and service development.
- Full and clean NZ Drivers licence.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management for children with chronic and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Lead care coordination across primary, community, and secondary services.
- Deliver Nurse Practitioner-led clinics and innovative models of care.
- Engage closely with whaanau, ensuring culturally responsive, family-centred care.
- Mentor and provide clinical leadership to nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with NGOs, GPs, locality teams, education providers, Oranga Tamariki, and other health and social services.
