Job summary

Easysteel in Auckland is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. This hands-on role requires strong manufacturing or warehouse experience and the ability to operate machinery safely while supporting productivity, quality, and safety standards.

You will contribute to daily production targets, support stock handling, and help train less experienced operators while championing continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or warehousing environments.
• Strong machine operation ability with a safety focus.
• Forklift licence and gantry crane experience considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery safely and efficiently.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Inventory responsibilities
• Courier despatch daily
• Support safe warehouse and stock handling activities.
• Champion health and safety initiatives and safe work practices.
• Assist in training and supporting less experienced operators.
