Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is seeking a Machine Operator for our Levin plant in the Manawatu District, North Island. The role covers monitoring production machinery, maintaining output, and carrying out quality checks to meet client specifications.

Training will be provided, and there is potential for overtime with various shift patterns. No prior experience is required as full training is offered; candidates should be physically fit to perform heavy lifting and pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of production machinery.
• Ensure batch weight inputs are correct and match job requirements.
• Maintain optimum machine output in line with the production plan.
• All scrap is monitored and minimised where possible.
• Conduct quality checks on the finished product.
