Job summary

The Ministry for Primary Industries in Wellington seeks a Senior Adviser in Organisational Development to lead MPI's graduate development programme and contribute to leadership and capability initiatives across the organisation.

You will design programmes, build stakeholder relationships, provide expert OD advice, and partner with leaders to deliver sustainable outcomes in a changing public sector. This role offers fixed-term, full-time engagement through June 2027.

Qualifications

• Senior OD practitioner with capability in governance and leadership development.
• Experience designing and delivering graduate development programmes.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and ongoing improvement of MPI's graduate development programme, ensuring a high-quality participant experience.
• Design and deliver organisational development initiatives that strengthen leadership and workforce capability.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide expert advice on talent, development and organisational capability matters.
• Contribute to broader organisational development projects and workforce initiatives.
