Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Installation Engineer to join our growing IT solutions team in Queenstown. You will lead end-to-end installation, configuration, and deployment of complex network systems for diverse clients, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with project managers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in network installation, solid TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall experience, plus CCNA/CCNP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network installation, configuration, and deployment.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan, install, configure, and deploy enterprise-level network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements and potential challenges.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for network installations.
• Perform rigorous testing and commissioning of installed network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues during and after installation.
• Document network designs, configurations, and installation procedures meticulously.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior installation engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and security best practices.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, vendor specifications, and client requirements.
