Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand is seeking a Senior Consultant to design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications. The role focuses on Azure deployment, code quality, and scalable services within a tax and business advisory digital transformation context.

You will work on cloud-first solutions, collaborating across teams to translate business needs into technical outcomes, while applying modern DevOps practices and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• A degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in .NET development with a strong focus on C#.
• Technical knowledge on: ASP.NET Core, Angular 16+, Web API, OO programming concepts and testing.
• Hands-on experience with fundamental Azure concepts.
• Knowledge of advanced design concepts.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform).
• Experience with Docker and AKS for containerization and orchestration of microservices is a plus.
• Passion for the software development and improvement process.
• Ability to work to deadlines and in dynamic project environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
