Job summary

Babcock Australasia, through its MID team, is seeking a Naval Architect (N3) or Snr Naval Architect (N4) to join in Auckland, Whangarei or Nelson. You will lead design delivery, mentor teams, and deliver compliant, robust marine solutions across newbuild, repair and conversion projects.

We value strong CAD, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills with a track record of delivering on time and within scope. This role offers career progression within a growth‑oriented organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Naval Architecture or related field.
• Professional registration with a recognised engineering body (e.g. RINA).
• Minimum of 3 years’ naval architecture experience.
