Job summary

FUREIN INTERNATIONAL TRADING LTD in Auckland CBD seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of a mobile B2B ordering platform and supply chain integration system. This hands-on role requires strong technical leadership, architecture design, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise mobile applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development, with strong mobile focus (iOS).
• Experience in software architecture design and end-to-end delivery of enterprise mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Swift/Objective‑C and iOS frameworks.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs, databases, and ERP/WMS.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand; visa support available.
• Experience in retail, supermarket, or supply chain systems; B2B e‑commerce familiarity.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD; cross-platform frameworks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile apps (iOS and cross‑platform) and backend services for our B2B ordering platform.
• Lead architecture design and ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Integrate with ERP, WMS, and third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate with management to define requirements and deliver features.
• Optimise performance, user experience, and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve development and product quality.
