  • AI Tooling: You will contribute to promoting AI adoption within the Android community and be proficient in creating AI skills that support investigation, architectural modernisation and optimisation.
  • Operational BAU: You’ll play a role in the team collective BAU responsibilities. Monitoring logs, alerts, test coverage health, incidents and triaging of incoming support issues.
What will success look like for the candidate in this role?

Successful candidates will contribute to building a strong foundation with modern technology. You will help deliver connected, unified experiences that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Your efforts will result in a seamless and improved digital experience for BNZ customers, with faster and easier navigation and a unified experience across web and mobile platform.

  • Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Material Design Guidelines, and the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with Android Studio and Git, along with experience using modern development workflows and common Android libraries.
  • Cost/resource management for build infrastructure.
  • Exposure to CI/CD technology layers including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Dagger/Hilt, Jenkins pipelines, Firebase Test Lab, Gradle ,GitHub Copilot agent frameworks, and Android SDK toolchains.
