Job summary

Datacom, a leading IT services provider in New Zealand, seeks a Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our Centre of Excellence. You will drive adoption and improvements across the Microsoft 365 stack, from data and collaboration to security and identity, delivering excellent experiences for clients.

Role spans New Zealand offices and requires NZ citizenship or residency. You will leverage deep Office 365 and AzureAD expertise to enable productive, secure Modern Workplace solutions.

Qualifications

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Experience in an ICT professional services organisation with hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering.
• Demonstrable expertise in Exchange Online Mailbox Management and Exchange Online Protection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
• Strong knowledge of AzureAD identity management including Users, Groups and Devices.
• Experience with Azure AD Connect, password hash sync, pass-through authentication, seamless SSO and ADFS.
• Familiarity with Azure MFA and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft 365 engineering as a technical escalation point within the Centre of Excellence.
• Guide customers toward adoption and continuous improvement with the Microsoft 365 stack.
• Focus on productivity outcomes across data, files, communications and collaboration, security and identity.
• Collaborate across Datacom offices in New Zealand.
