Re-Generate is a specialist engineering business delivering energy and water projects across New Zealand and Australia. We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead varied projects from Christchurch or New Plymouth, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust designs and commissioning.

You will bring a recognised mechanical engineering degree, 10+ years of experience, and strong technical/problem-solving ability.

Qualifications

A recognised mechanical engineering degree.
At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving ability.
Proven project delivery, technical leadership or independent review experience.
Sound commercial judgement and strong client communication skills.
The ability to work independently and travel when projects require it.

Responsibilities

Leading projects from scoping and concept design through to delivery and commissioning.
Managing design, analysis, specifications and independent engineering reviews.
Solving complex technical and practical engineering problems.
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delegating work effectively.
Managing programme, budget, technical risk, quality and safety requirements.
Working with clients, suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
