Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or higher).
• 8+ years’ relevant engineering experience with hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) including 3D modelling, assemblies and drawings.
• Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver practical, well-considered solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture.
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure designs meet relevant standards and codes.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks).
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting on complex engineering challenges.
• Mentor and support junior engineers to build team capability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and ways of working.
