Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Auckland to lead major maritime programmes from definition to delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, commercial, supply chain and operations to translate strategic requirements into executable programmes that support defence and maritime capability.

You'll influence senior stakeholders, establish baselines, and ensure governance readiness for successful execution in a complex, high-value environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related discipline.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape major maritime projects before delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, supply chain and operations.
• Establish project baselines and ensure governance-readiness for execution.
• Influence senior stakeholders and external partners for strategic objectives.
