Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking Project/Agile/Technology Delivery professionals to bring an independent perspective to change. You will work across major transformational initiatives, evaluating delivery from strategy to execution and helping ASB deliver change successfully.

We value delivery experience, curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions. You do not need to be an auditor; we’ll teach you the assurance ropes.

Qualifications

• Project or Programme Management experience.
• Agile Delivery experience.
• Technology Delivery experience.
• Transformation, PMO or Portfolio Management background.
• ability to see the bigger picture while digging into details, build relationships with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Assess whether major programmes are set up to succeed.
• Assess credibility of delivery plans and milestones.
• Evaluate how risks, issues and dependencies are managed.
• Check governance and accountabilities in practice.
• Identify early when delivery may drift before it becomes a bigger problem.

In fact, we’re deliberately looking for people with different backgrounds and perspectives.

We can teach you how to apply an assurance lens. What we’re looking for is the practical experience and judgement that comes from understanding how complex change actually gets delivered.
