Job summary

AUT invites applicants for a permanent, full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position based at AUT's South Campus. The role focuses on PACU clinical and academic expertise, teaching and research in perioperative practice, and collaboration across simulation and innovative teaching approaches.

We seek experienced health professionals with a strong research pipeline, able to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education and to develop externally funded projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in Health Sciences or related field, with strong research output.
• Registration (or eligibility) with NZ regulatory authority and current Practising Certificate.
• Clinical experience in perioperative care and PACU settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver education across perioperative practice.
• Contribute to research activity and supervision of projects.
• Lead and support programme development and course design.
• Teach across programmes as assigned by Head of Department.
• Publish research and seek external funding where possible.
