Job summary

AUT's School of Nursing, based at North Campus (Akoranga), seeks a Kaiwhakaako (Senior Lecturer/Nurse Practitioner) to contribute to postgraduate teaching and the RN Prescriber and Nurse Practitioner programmes. The 0.6FTE, permanent role supports teaching, research and service within a vibrant, Te Tiriti-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level qualification (PhD, DHSc, DNP) preferred or in progress.
• Bachelor of Nursing is required.
• Current annual practising certificate as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Teach at postgraduate level in advanced nursing practice.
• Contribute to Registered Nurse Prescriber and Nurse Practitioner programmes.
• Engage in teaching, research and service within AUT's School of Nursing.
