Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in Auckland is seeking a part-time (0.6FTE), permanent Clinical Educator/Registered Nurse to join the School of Nursing at AUT's North Campus.

The successful applicant will contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes, with a minimum requirement of a PG certificate in Nursing and a current NCNZ practising certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum PG certificate in Nursing.
• Current NCNZ practising certificate.
• NZ clinical nursing experience.
• Cultural knowledge of Māori and Pacific communities preferred.
• Part-time, 0.6FTE annualised role based at AUT's North Campus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes.
• Develop and enhance clinical learning within nursing at AUT.
• Teach and mentor students including Māori and Pacific learners.
• Support ongoing professional development through AUT staff development programme.
