Job summary

Entelect, a leading technology consultancy, is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to build world-class mobile apps for clients across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

You will contribute to a DevOps-enabled environment with containerisation and CI improvements, participate in full SDLC, and explore new technologies to drive innovation. The role supports a hybrid model with some office presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Strong fundamentals and commitment to clean code and best practices.
• Mastery of multiple technologies with adaptability to new frameworks.
• Ability to architect and structure small projects within an enterprise context.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with drive for continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop world-class mobile applications for organisations in AU, NZ and SA.
• Explore containerisation and CI to strengthen DevOps culture and product quality.
• Participate in SDLC stages from design to estimation and scoping.

What You'll Be Doing:

Delivery:

• Leveraging your expertise to develop world-class mobile applications for leading organisations in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
• Exploring methods to enhance product quality through containerisation and continuous integration, fostering a streamlined DevOps culture.
• Engaging in various stages of the SDLC, from system design to analysis, scoping, and estimation.
• Researching innovative technologies and implementing them in projects to drive innovation.

What We Need from You:

• Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals and commitment to clean code and best practices.
• Mastery of various technologies with the agility to adapt to new frameworks.
• Ability to architect and structure small projects within an enterprise environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a drive for continual improvement.
• Pro hybrid working model working from the office on average 2 - 3 times per week.
• A strong customer-facing ability.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of different environments and tooling.
