Datacom Connect is hiring a Senior iOS Developer for a contract on-site role in Auckland City, NZ. You will own core iOS development, work within cross-functional agile teams, and deliver scalable mobile solutions aligned to business needs.

The role emphasizes high-quality, maintainable code, collaboration, and strong communication as you build modern apps with Swift/UI Kit in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• We expect strong iOS development experience in agile teams.
• Proven Swift/UI Kit/Xcode skills over several years.
• Experience with app deployment and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications and integration solutions
• Develop code in a clear and maintainable way with a focus on performance and security
• Be familiar with development frameworks and good practices
• Use established and common design patterns
• Work with the delivery team to design and deliver customer outcomes
• Work with QA team to design and run functional tests
• Work with the Business Analyst to resolve gaps or ambiguities in requirements and design
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, including after-hours support when required
• Create and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC to support transparency and knowledge sharing
• Analyse recurring issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives and refine support procedures
• Ensure governance standards
