This well-known financial services provider based in Auckland is seeking a Senior Investment Risk & Compliance Analyst for a Fixed Term Contract to manage the investment risk, compliance, regulatory reporting and investment analysis.

About the role

As a Senior Investment Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring investment activities and portfolios operate within regulatory requirements, internal policies and robust risk frameworks. You will work closely with investment, risk, compliance, legal and governance teams to strengthen controls, improve processes and support sound investment decision-making.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring investment compliance across portfolios and investment activities
• Overseeing investment risk controls, incidents and control testing
• Supporting regulatory and internal reporting requirements
• Maintaining investment data integrity and resolving data or valuation issues
• Developing and improving compliance, risk and reporting processes
• Supporting performance analysis, portfolio construction and investment strategy initiatives
• Contributing to new fund and product launches
• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members

About you:

• Previous similarexperience in investment compliance, risk, investment operations or a related funds management environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a sound understanding of regulatory requirements and investment processes, and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
• Experience with portfolio analytics, performance attribution, risk metrics, regulatory reporting and process improvement will be highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and commercially astute
