Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deliver and improve secure, reliable cloud and on‑premises infrastructure. You’ll provide technical leadership and hands‑on expertise to support teaching, learning and daily operations across Poike or Mokoia campuses.

You will shape the cloud and on‑premises stack, strengthen security, mentor colleagues, automate tasks and lead complex troubleshooting and upgrades for infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Enterprise infrastructure experience supporting thousands of users.
• Minimum five years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365 and on‑premises systems.
• Strong identity, security, backup and recovery skills.

As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll design, deliver and improve secure, reliable services that support teaching, learning and everyday operations. Bringing technical leadership and hands‑on expertise to Toi Ohomai cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.

Our Digital team supports the technology that connects Toi Ohomai people and services. Working with colleagues across the organisation and our service partners, you’ll help strengthen infrastructure, share knowledge and deliver practical improvements for ākonga and kaimahi.

This role can be based at either our Poike or Mokoia campus.
