Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Gisborne Hospital Shared Services seeks a Senior Business Performance and Improvement Analyst/Decision Support to partner with the Group Manager, Clinicians and Leaders to provide expert decision support around planning, development, implementation and monitoring of health services to meet population needs.

You will extract and analyse data to inform service planning, enabling forecasting, trending, capacity modelling, indicator reporting and benchmarking, while

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and inform planning and decision making.
• Experience with forecasting, capacity modelling and performance benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert decision support around planning, development, implementation and monitoring of health services.
• Create business analytics tools to provide data, information and evidence for forecasting, trending, capacity modelling and reporting.
• Support transformation initiatives and work to reduce health inequities for Māori.
