Job summary

Bastion Security Group in Wellington seeks a senior GRC consultant to deliver governance, risk and compliance services to a diverse client base across New Zealand and Australia, supported by an international cybersecurity team.

You will own engagements from scoping calls to delivery, identify new opportunities, mentor junior GRC staff, and help nurture client relationships while meeting sales KPIs and upholding security best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive GRC experience in New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity consulting and frameworks.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and industry best practices.
• Able to mentor junior GRC team members.

Responsibilities

• Scoping calls and end-to-end delivery of engagements.
• Identify new opportunities and nurture client relationships.
• Conduct Security Risk Assessments and IT Audits.
• Prepare documentation and reports; perform governance and compliance reviews.
• Assist with certification and accreditation audits.
