Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with a Geotechnical specialty for a fully remote role serving nationwide projects. You will lead geotechnical analyses, provide design recommendations, and ensure QA from a remote workspace with strong autonomy.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, designing foundations and slope stabilization, reviewing reports, supporting project teams remotely, and managing scope, schedule, and budget while upholding company geotechnical

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus.
• Minimum of 8 years in geotechnical engineering practice.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform advanced geotechnical investigations (soil/rock mechanics).
• Develop detailed designs for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and earthwork.
• Review and approve geotechnical reports and designs by others.
• Provide remote technical guidance to project teams and site engineers.
